But don’t let the calm fool you. The off-season is a time of reflection, creativity, and preparation, especially as we gear up for a major milestone: our 80th anniversary next year!

Next year marks eight decades of chocolate-making magic, and we’re working on a few special surprises to celebrate—limited-edition treats, throwback packaging, and a few fun projects we can’t wait to share with you.
During this quieter stretch, our chocolatiers sharpen their skills, fine-tune production methods, and deep-clean our equipment to keep everything running smoothly. Our retail team scoops LOTS of ice-cream, reimagines store displays and preps for the next big rush. Behind every piece of candy is a lot of care, creativity, and preparation. We are still making Buffalo's best Sponge Candy - don't you worry! It may be a little heavier and can be a little tacky to the tooth, but nothing ever changes about our decadent chocolate.
Watson’s may be a Buffalo tradition, but we’re always looking ahead. The off-season gives us space to dream, create, and get ready to make our 80th year the most delicious one yet.
