In 1946, two brothers, Louis and John Watson, and their respective wives, Ellen and Mary, began making chocolates in the back room of their soda fountain and luncheonette on Delaware Ave. in Kenmore, NY.

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at its Kenmore flagship store, the family-owned Buffalo chocolatier will give free Valentine’s chocolate hearts to guests age 80 and over in exchange for a favorite Watson’s memory....
