Watson’s Shipping Procedures

At Watson’s we take special care to hand pack all of your items for shipment so that they arrive in the best possible condition.

It typically will take 2-3 business days to process your order before shipping.  Please refer to the map below for typical transit times. Please be advised that Holidays may add 4-5 business days to processing time before shipments leave our facility. 

We use Fedex Ground and USPS Priority Mail primarily for shipping. You will receive an email from us when your package ships. Fedex does not consider Saturday or Sunday shipping or delivery days.

Please track your package for delivery. If it is left outside, on a porch, in the sun, your candy may melt. We strongly suggest adding a signature option so that you’ll be sure to receive the package from the shipping carrier.

Watson’s Chocolates cannot be held responsible for, nor will we replace, any melted or damaged chocolate due to temperature and/or humidity considerations unless customers choose the cooler/ice pack and Second Day Air during the months of May – October and /or to warm destinations throughout the year.

If your package has been sent via FedEx, text TRACK and your shipment’s tracking number to 48773, and FedEx will respond with your shipment’s status. There are no sign-ups or extra steps involved. To get automatic ongoing status updates for a shipment, text FOLLOW and your tracking number to 48773. You can also visit www.USPS.com for postal order tracking or www.FEDEX.com.

Watson’s is NOT RESPONSIBLE for lost or stolen packages. If you package is lost, or stolen please contact Fedex directly at 1-800-463-3339, or your local USPS office.

 

 

 

 

 

WARM WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS:

Coolers and ice packs are strongly suggested for all warm weather areas and are mandatory during May-October. There is an additional shipping and handling fee of $7.95/per cooler and ice. You may select the cooler option on our Billing & Shipping page during checkout.

Please choose 2nd Day Air to guarantee safe delivery. Please track your package for delivery. If it is left outside, on a porch, in the sun, your candy may melt. We strongly suggest adding a signature option so that you’ll be sure to receive the package from the shipping carrier.

If you live in a warm weather area and are shipping in a cooler, we typically ship coolers on Mondays.  This ensues that the cooler is not left sitting over a weekend.  If you have questions, please call us. This also may be the case for locations that are 4-day shipping zones (west of CO and Texas). Again, we encourage that you add a signature to be sure that your package arrives to you.

All orders are shipped so that they will arrive by the end of the work week so that they don’t sit over the weekend. If your order cannot be delivered within the week that it was ordered, we will ship it on the following Monday.
