In 1946, two brothers, Louis and John Watson, and their respective wives, Ellen and Mary, began making chocolates in the back room of their soda fountain and luncheonette on Delaware Ave. in Kenmore, NY.
Thank you for voting us as Buffalo's Best, but we aren't just for locals anymore! The word is out and we've shipped to all 50 states.
Using family recipes and traditional methods, we still make all our confections, including our famous Sponge Candy, by hand and in small batches.
After the holiday hustle—when boxes of Sponge Candy fly off the shelves, chocolate bunnies hop into Easter baskets, and mother's receive a decent stash—Watson’s enters a quieter, behind-the-scenes season. But don’t let the calm fool you.
For decades now, Watson's has raffled off a 15# chocolate rabbit, decorated and ready to play for Easter morning.
