Considered Buffalo’s Best, our award-winning candy is crispy, tender chunks of caramelized spun sugar drenched in our wonderfully creamy chocolate.  Available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and orange-flavored sponge.

Made by hand in small batches, each sponge is carefully cooked in our traditional copper kettles by our highly trained candy makers. We then carefully hand-pack and vacuum seal each gift box for freshness during shipping.  Sponge Candy is gluten-free and available in a variety of sizes. 

As always, our Sponge Candy is delicious anytime, but we suggest enjoying it within a week or two of purchase as heat and humidity are not its friend.

Anniversary Surprise

My husband was born and raised in Tonawanda, NY. He always said the best candy is Watson’s sponge candy. So for our anniversary this year, I ordered a pound of sponge candy to be delivered to Jacksonville, FL. It was a great surprise for him and the chocolate is the best I have ever eaten. Thank you, Watson’s, for helping me surprise my husband!

Despite Two day shipping, the sponge candy arrived melted

A Bit Surprised

Intended to purchase 2 lb box of milk chocolate sponge candy to be shipped to North Carolina. Stopped at Rochester location, staff could not have been nicer. I was informed no shipping from this location and I could use website or call Buffalo plant. This surprised me. I did call your plant, and the receptionist was not very happy to take my order. The product is wonderful, but the service was not great.

I’m so sorry if I came across as anything less than happy to take your order—that was never my intention. I always want every customer to feel welcome and have a wonderful experience with us.
