Watsons sponge candy is my absolute favorite after growing up and living in WNY for 43 years.

I ordered candy online as a gift and it was being delivered to Kentucky. I received a phone call from Watson’s ( the owner) because he was concerned with the temperature being so high and the chance of melting during shipping even with a cold pack. He suggested waiting until Monday to avoid having the candy sit over the weekend in transit and possibly lessen the time it takes for delivery. He also said he would arrange to have an extra cold pack added as well. I realize there is no guarantee that the candy might melt when being sent during summer months however he certainly went out of his way and tried to make sure my order would arrive in good condition. It did!
